careful what you are saying
are you surely positioned to speak
on behalf of yourself
it could be good
you may lye exactly where you should lay
it's just another sleep
but you're not counting like before
just rest you won't be damned
if you shut your eyes awhile
trying hard to forget the sun that
used to spread
it is painful to write
and trouble to sing
today i feel as I am turning
to my mother
for all of my new traits
i can see why accepting a
role of powerlessness is
a cop out like the drink i used to
